Muswell Hill, Haringey N10 | Side kitchen extension
Project description | Architect designed side kitchen extension Muswell Hill, Haringey N10
Single storey side kitchen extension and internal alterations to a house in a conservation area to create an enlarged kitchen, dining and living area that opens up to the rear garden.
Design, heritage and planning
We are proposing a half length single storey extension to create an enlarged kitchen, dining and living area that opens up the a raised terraced area in the rear garden. The extension looks to replace an existing dated conservatory structure that lays along the length of the side of the property along the boundary with the adjacent single family dwelling.
Our proposals are in-keeping with the character of the host building and of the terrace as well. They do not affect the amenity of the adjacent properties and we do not propose to alter the access around the front of the building or the access to the property in general; for anything further please see the attached drawings and forms that accompany this application.
Muswell Hill Conservation Area | Sub Area 7. Colney Hatch Lane & Wellfield Avenue to The Avenue | Overall character and appearance: Our proposals are modest in scale, in-keeping with the character of the host building and of the terrace as well and they aim to enhance the character of the conservation area.
